Launched in 1980 in a rundown freight station (circa 1850) on two acres of garbage-strewn jungle with a dirt floor and a leaky roof, Blessed Hope dedicates itself to empowering ordinary people to accomplish the extraordinary through God. Today's multi-ethnic congregation provides spiritual support to the community from inside cozy classrooms and a spacious kitchen. Upbeat music, casual dress and practical messages epitomize their philosophy. Patriotic services on Memorial, Independence and Veteran’s Sunday inspire attendees from all military branches.
